Carl Soderberg - Scott Young/Mikael Renberg
Wojtek Wolski - Scott Hartnell
Dave Bolland - Mike Leclerc (even though they play different positions)
Lauri Korpikoski - Ladislav Nagy

Isn't the biggest knock against Voloshenko his skating? And isn't Havlat one of the best skaters in the league?

Yeah, it was my boldest comparison. I couldn't come up with a player that has elite sniper skills and an impressive skillset in general, while being a poor skater. So I decided to drop the skating part and then it's Havlat that comes the closest if you ask me. Havlat is also more agressive, especially in terms of cheap play, so that's another difference between the two.

Doesn't that get you at Mike Modano? Or is there a particular part of Sakic's and Malkin's game that Modano doesn't have?

Andrew Brunette is the guy that comes to mind when I think of Voloshenko.

I'll skip the top players. Ovechkin is Ovechkin, and Malkin is Malkin.

Cam Barker- Sergei Gonchar
A.J. Thelen- Paul Mara
Alexander Radulov- Aleksey Morozov
Alex Picard- Ryan Smyth
Kyle Chipchura- Jeff Halpern
Andrew Ladd- Mark Bell
Mike Green- Scott Hannan (good one)

Can someone make a comparison with Alex Radulov?
Alexander Radulov-Patrick Elias/Marian Hossa-This is RLR's comparison, so it's very reliable. :)

If there were ever a case where two players played opposite styles this is it.

From The Hockey News:

Wojtek Wolski has the size it takes to be an effective player in the NHL. He has high-end skill and is strong along the boards, along with being hard to budge from in front of the net. Scouts like Wolski's even-keeled nature and appreciate what he has, knowing what his parents went through to give him a proper Canadian hockey upbringing.

That doesn't sound much different from Hartnell if you ask me. Also, both are 6'3 and just above 200 pounds.

I read some information about him before today..that's why I wanted more, I knew he was a great player and that some people before today told me he was comparable to Alex Kovalev(see Habs board) ...now I here he is comparable to Hossa,Elias,Moginly and again Alex Kovalev.

He is a steal because the talent he brings doesn't equal the hype he is getting. All I keep hearing about him is that he is hard headed and that he is some issues so he will drop out of the top 10 and probarbly top 12...and whoever picks him will be lucky.
