Updated list:

CAR: Aaron Dawson, Matej Trojovsky, Shay Stephenson, Ryan Rorabeck
QUOTE]

Shay Stephenson was drafted by Edmonton in 2001, went not signed and re-entered the 2003 draft where he was selected by Carolina.

He doesn't fall under the same rules as other 2003 drafted players (re-entering the 2005 draft, etc).

yeah your write, he should have been signed right away by the 'Canes and start his pro career in minor, instead he choose to sign with Sundsvall in Sweden tier II and next this he's going to play with Nybro IF in the same tier II Sweden league,
so he's must already be an UFA anyway

Jarret Stoll, I believe that was what happened to him.

Originally drafted by Calgary, then picked up by Edmonton the next year.

And also, Matthew Lombardi for the Flames, but originally drafted by the Oilers.

Nick Boynton, Scott Parker, Pierre Dagenais, Ramzi Abid, Justin Papineau, and Jarret Stoll all come to mind immediately.

Also Thursday, the Avalanche waived forward Chris Gratton and signed forward prospect Brad Richardson, its fourth pick in the 2003 entry draft.

Richardson, who scored 41 goals for Owen Sound of the Ontario Hockey League last season, would have returned to the draft if the Avalanche did not sign him by Thursday.

Colorado earlier had signed another 2003 draft pick, forward David Svagrovsky.

Stefan Ruzicka, Martin Tuma, Martin Sagat, and Lukas Bolf didn't need to be signed by yesterday as they were drafted out of Europe.

some you not mention where drafted out of europe and became ufa or re-enter draft, so I guest these too,

are you sure they didn't have to be signed???

Patrik Valcak was in Czech in 2002-03

Patrick Ehelechner get signed put was drafted from Germany

I've looking the case of each player and europeens who played two year here but was drafted from europe I was thinking it's was like for Valcak

if NYI are really going to lose Cody Blanshan, he won't re-enter draft because he's born in 1984

he's too old, North American players are only eligible if they are born between January 1, 1985 and September 15, 1987

I'm glad teh Sharks resigned Bernier & co. The delay was going to give me a heart attack.

BTW, the NHL Network is showing the 03 draft right now (the 04 draft is on later like 3 times), and it's hilarious listening to the TSN guys. The Devils are about to pick (after trading with Edmonton), and they'll take Zach Parise. Hearing Pierre McGuire, you'd swear Parise was his love-child or something.

Every single pick from like #10 on McGuire's been "why didn't they take Parise, he's so great, he's incredible, he's the next Gretzky, in fact he's better than Gretzky, he's like Jesus himself on skates, OH MY GOD WHAMMO MONSTER!!!".
