the 2003-04 leafs roster was amazing even though they did not win. lots of HOF's. Sundin Belfour Mogilny Francis Leetch McCabe Kaberle Nolan Roberts Tucker Nieuwendyk Domi.

belfour had 10 shutouts that reg season too.

That was probably our best shot at a cup in the Quinn era. Loved the Leetch addition. With no NJ Detroit or Colorado making it past round 2 that year I thought we had a shot. Sadly just not to be.

One thing that always hurt us during those Quinn years is we always had a ridiculously brutal and physical 1st round series (That Islanders series is still the the brutal I witnessed). We needed to finish 1st in the conf. just once to get to the finals.

I do think our best shot was 2001. Domi ended it with the cheapshot. We had that series.

This was the first year I can really remember following everything. That team was such a fun team to watch , it had so many different things going for it
