He deserves the #1 spot at Sochi. There is no better goalie in the world then a hungry, focused Miller. He wants that Gold bad.

We have beaten LA and San Jose.
4 out of 8 pts at SJ, at LA, at ANA, and vs LA. That's four more points than I thought they'd get in those four, shootout or not.

Yeah I give you that, I remember at least one great block on the PK. But whenever we tried to turn to offense he seemed more like a hindrance then an asset, had quiet some weak passes, had this weird collision with Foligno etc. But meh, there will be those games and it isn't like he doesn't put in the effort.

Kaleta used to be the only forward who would be willing to sacrifice his entire body to block a shot on the team--especially on the PK. Now we've got Flynn and Girgensons doing it. Those kinds of players become so valuable in defensive situations.
I'm sure Darcy's already doing it, but he needs to be offering Miller to teams right now and underscoring the point that he's extra motivated for the Olympics. We'll see.
