Wouldn’t mind Nyquist at the deadline. I’m not overly interested in Vanek. He puts up a decent amount of points, but don’t think he’s a good fit with a speedy, forechecking team we are trying to put together.

Nill's old pal Brendan Smith, with some retained, might fit with a hopeful contender.

We arent saying we dont want him... In fact just about every stars fan here has said they would take him. Problem is he is a rental and there is no way in hell a rental would cost a team a top 4 RD who is 26 years old.

Brenden Smith is just straight up not that good and has 3 years left at way too much money for his value. Dallas easily passes on him

there is a way to get nyquist, without giving anything ridiculous imo. nyquist would greatly help the 2nd line.
