Why are we playing this game today? If we don't get Karlsson the team will be to distraught to put any effort in, blow out incoming.

Plekanec was a small addition. He won’t make a difference. They have a good forward group but we have a better defense and a better goalie. It’s fun entertaining hockey during the season but our club is battle tested and ready for playoff hockey. I see it being the same way as the Wings vs Bolts matchups. Good fun matchups but at the end we end up dominating them.

Should be interesting to see if our team will look the same tonight. It will be a huge test though and if Yzerman stands pat then we will see what the team has and if it's enough.

Both. He is listed as day to day and was banged up a little but likely was held out because of the potential trade.
