After Heiskanen and Honka it's tough.

Gurianov had a very good 19 year old season. He didn't get a ton of time early, but after he blew up at the WJC, and was arguably Russia's best player, he came back and played a bigger role with Texas. Tufte gets injured make his transition to the NCAA game even tougher, but he takes off after Christmas scoring at a high clip. Dickinson has a really tough but predictable transition back from major hip surgery, but he ends the season pretty well. It's not even close that Hintz had the best season. He missed time with injury yet again, but he still finished Top 10 in goal scoring the Liiga, and he lead the Liiga playoffs in scoring. Robertson and Oettinger probably belong in this discussion as well.

Dickinson probably has the lowest upside of everyone in this range, but he's the safest NHLer. Oettinger, Robertson, Gurianov, Hintz, and Tufte has the highest upside of that group. Elie is probably just on the outside of that group because like Dickinson, he doesn't have the highest NHL potential.

I think I'm going with Hintz next ... plus why not keep the Finn's going. I wasn't sure about his scoring potential in the NHL, but he at least proved he could be a top scoring in a Euro men's league. I thought he might be a good 3rd line player before, but I think he might honestly at least potentially be a 2nd line forward in the NHL. Oettinger has the best potential of the remaining group. He could be a long time starter, and Robertson probably has the best goal scoring potential of everyone.

And the one vote is Guryanov is some random non-Stars' fan. Of course.

Honka easily.

When did we sign Ondrej Vala?

Could've sworn we drafted him but apparently not.

I would have put Honka first, then Miro, Guri, Hintz, Elie, Otter, Tufte, Bayruther, Hansson (who spent a lot of time yesterday between drills talking to one of the coaches, whatever that means) Dickenson, Roberston.

On Robertson, funny how preconceptions shape my (probably anyone) opinion. Told he had skating problems, he didn't look half bad.
