Vasy haven't had his best game but you can't expect him to be on top all the time. This rest was ok but could have been better. We did find oursleves facing a hot goalie who had a monster game, was the be expected to happen a couple of times per season.

Vasi has had too many bad games lately. This and the Leafs games are 4 points lost because he hasn't been sharp.

They were one for one goal tonight, every defender was on for at least one tonight so that excuse doesn't work.

It's pretty much this. If he needs a breather, then give him one. It's possible he's worn down a bit right now. But, as it is, he's a sieve right now and pretty much lost two games single-handedly this week, and that's a pretty big problem seeing as how Boston is about to jump is in the standings.

Any road to the Cup, for any team, is difficult. That's not really a reason not to go for it.

He didn't play as great as usual, but how many odd man rushes did we give up and how many goals did they score on? We had chances too and couldn't convert. Bigger question for me is why was Girardi on defense with Hedman when we pulled Vasi instead of Serge? Sure could of used another great shot on the point from him instead of putting Girardi out there.
