How did NHL officiating become so bad? AWFUL these two games AWFUL. I'm sure Nashville and Buffalo got screwed some too and I didn't notice due to my bias. But it was just AWFUL.

Don't underestimate just how bad some of the other teams are. God the Sabres looked just awful.

Two ref screw jobs and one ridiculous goaltender performance.

Team is not as bad as you think.

They're not as bad as we think but they remind me of the little engine they could. A hard working team that just can't finish. Also last game was fun to watch for parts of it, but this game was awful to watch, just an ugly ugly game.

Look at the contending teams' first lines and compare them to KZB. It's not close.

Positives...

Chytil looks great. Good vision on the ice, setting up nice plays, etc. He needs more ice time.

Lundqvist looks great at 36. Coming up with huge saves for team.

Better pick possession than last year.

Negatives...

Vesey cannot be getting our best chances.

Entire team is snake bitten or we simply do not have the talent to compete.

Defense still giving up more high quality chances than I would like.
