Obviously 2 Norris Dmen.

70 point centers is too vague, Norris gets to the point.

Now if it were Franchise defining/building centers?

Because that's a wash.

This post screams Matthews + Tavares versus Karlsson + Burns

Ignoring things such as age, contracts and all, just looking at it who would I rather have for this year I would take the centers. I just am not a fan of Burns

tell me the season when Niedermayer was the best player on the planet

Niedermeyer is pretty overrated from an all time stand point, I agree he doesnt belong in that comparison with the other 3.

Norris dmen are harder to find I think than a forward so I would take them, plus D can play 30 mins a night. Having a Norris quality defender at all times in a playoff game would be tough to beat. I also think dmen can impact the offense moreso than a center can impact the defensive play

Since this is just a way to post another Matthews & Tavares vs Karlsson & Burns poll, I'm legit asking aren't there valid reasons for players at both positions? I have heard various Hockey experts say finding elite #1 centres is not that easy and most of the time you need to draft them and they rarely become UFA's, with Tavares being the exception to that.
