Howe and Richard are easy.
Doug Harvey is almost as easy as the above. The best defenseman before Bobby Orr, backbone of a dynasty. Would have done even more if he hadn't been blackballed by Habs management, one of the great disgraces in NHL history.
I think Plante legitimately has an edge over Sawchuk. Growing up I think I had slightly inflated respect for Sawchuk because he held the wins record. I've come around to holding Plante as the better goalie.
It's hard leaving Lindsay off the list, but I just can't find room for him. Most decades he'd be a top-4.
Kennedy, Kelly, Bentley aren't on the level of the others.
