Bennett was with Malkin and Neal during the morning skate. Hope Bylsma actually sticks with that during the game and doesn't bench Bennett the minute he has a poor shift.

  4. That's Emery? He looks like he saw a ghost

Holmgren in panic mode traded for Bobrobsky . I know, it's not really a good joke. ;)

You may or may not know this, but one of the illustrators for that show is Stephen Slesinski ... aka Stephen S. from the Pensblog. He's done some pretty awesome illustrations of different Pens players.

His Tumblr and his Twitter if anyone is interested.

Hopefully we slaughter those ********ers and keep "The Best Player In The World" Giroux off the scoresheet.

The Flyers seem to have gotten their act together. Their D pairings actually make sense once again, and they're playing well. Their forward lines make sense again, and have started scoring. You knew Claude Giroux was too good to stay in that abyss he began the season in.

OH, and I believe Lecavalier is playing between B. Schenn and Simmonds, while Jeff Carter (aka Sean Couturier) is playing between Matt Read and Steve Downie.

Now, that all said, they played last night. Travelled, had to go through the border stuff, etc. They're feeling good about themselves. We've lost two in a row and five of nine. If there's no sense of urgency tonight, against our biggest rivals in a building THEY do very well in, well then nothing will get this team up...not even Viagra.

Mason has been great this season, but it seems they're going with Emery. Sid and Geno need to LIGHT THEM UP. No excuses.

Does anyone know the updated D-pairings? I know Maatta is playing with Letang. What are the other two pairings?

He's been a nice surprise and looked good with Geno, but his last name isn't D'Agostini and he wasn't one of Shero's biggest FA signings this offseason, so he probably will be kept up for a while, maybe given 5 minutes on a 4th line in a few games, and then be sent down.

This does have the feel of the kind of game that the Pens lose.

    England right?

I actually went to school there for a year. Great country. I felt very at home there.

Man the Pens are really going all out with this military thing. I think it's cool, just maybe a little overboard at some point.

I can't wait to see the Maatta-Letang pair, even if it's short lived.

All I say is don't get injured and don't get embarrassed. I've reached that point.

Also, have someone designated to save Fleury in advance, just to be safe.
