close, but he did not get to 18. He was the only name that came off hand so I checked his stats. I should have known Howe did it.

Maybe to you but it means as much to me as the watered down NHL.

Don't forget also that 20 goals doesn't really mean anything anymore & hasn't for years. It was a benchmark of a very good player in the original six.

I thought 2006 was Jagr's 16th consecutive 30+season. Curious as to who is second at 15 (NHL only). Hull had 17 (If you count WHA, which I do) with 13 NHL & 4 WHA. Think Gretzky had 14 ( 13 NHL+1 WHA). Who had the most consecutive 40+seasons)? Think it was Gretz with 13 (12+1)

Jagr kept his streak going even during the 48 game lockout season of 1994-95. Now that's pretty impressive. Gartner's streak ended with the lockout season, but he scored 30 or more in the next two years (95-96 and 96-97)
