Trying to find a scouting report on the guy but he was the #10 EU goalie by Central Scouting heading into the draft.

Supposedly had a good game in the prospects tourney today, impressed the coach. Never really dove into him when we drafted him. But looking now, he's had very strong numbers throughout every level of hockey he's played so far in his career. Could be a sneaky good pic.

He looked very solid. Wasn't overly taxed but made the saves he should plus a few others. Hard to tell with the competition he was facing. My opinion but liked him better this game than Hamrla yesterday.

The funny thing is Cale Makar is actually Jakub Vondras' son

Good name for a hockey player. Likely not elite as Jakub will only get you so far (Voracek, Vrana being the best of them). But Vondras is great. Reminds me of Petr Bondra, so ideally he would have been a goal scoring winger but He can make a fine goalie maybe in the mold of Tomas Vokoun.
