Apparently Nashville SC season ticket sales are really lagging behind. They have sold only 5,000 so far despite starting in 2020.

This sounds like a recipe for disaster if a new team can’t sell tickets. If they don’t come flying out of the gates, it is going to be a long up hill battle to gain interest from fans in the market.

NFL/NHL/Triple-A Baseball, SEC Football/Basketball.

Charlotte is similar except replace NHL with NBA, but there's plenty of ACC and SEC ticket holders here too, hell I know some Ohio State alumni who make the 7 hour drive to Columbus for home football games.

In markets of Nashville and Charlottes size, the sports dollar can only go so far.
