I'm not as invested as getting Bratt into a postseason game as you. He's still 19, it's amazing he's gotten the amount of pro experience that he has as it is, it's not essential he get in a playoff game this year. Would it be nice sure but him doing anything in the postseason would be gravy. If this team goes on the track we hope it will the next few years and Bratt can find more consistency he'll get plenty of chances down the road whether he gets in one or two postseason games or not this time around.

I get what you're saying but getting to the playoffs(as it was shown) is very difficult.

Need to take advantage of the opportunity while we're here. You never know what next season would bring.

If Hynes does not start Bratt either in Game 3 or 4, then what would've been the point of playing Bratt all season long?

it's seems as though he struggled to adjust with less time and space. That certainly won't improve in the playoffs. I would switch Mueller to the left side, Put Severson on the 2nd pairing, and Sit Moore

Bratt would get roughed up pretty bad in the playoffs. I dont see him playing any games unless we lose tonight and just throw him into game 4 just for some expereince

LOl, the kid can skate, are Point and Johnson getting roughed up.

You and Hynes are dead wrong.
I'm irate over the stupidity of Hynes

Not sure the emphasis is necessary. I agree with your view, but I could see why someone would suggest the Bratt of a month ago might really struggle in the playoffs. To me, he started to rehab his game after he was given a few more chances after the benching, but it's an opinion, not a fact.

Bratt has had trouble making quick decisions in the 2nd half of the season, which is what has led to him struggling. That absolutely cannot happen against a team like Tampa who has a relentless forecheck

Welp...No shot of Bratt getting any run now. Not when Stafford was playing last night(at least I heard rumors since I didn't see him at all) and the Devils got a win.

You don't remember him fanning on a shot during a second of his 5 minutes of PP time? Although all joking aside getting open between the circles does seem to be a skill of his during the power play. There is nothing he is really bringing that cancels out the value Gibbons or Grabner would bring to the PK even if we didn't go with Bratt.

I think it's unlikely he gets in a game, but I wouldn't say it's impossible. There's no one on the bench with more upside than Bratt.

Exactly. And you're right to "never say never" as the old saying goes 'cause you never know what Hynes does from here on out. I sure as hell don't.

And btw.....if I may toot my own horn here, your post is Non-Sarcasm well done. ;)
