The thing is this is the problem with internal investigations. Sometimes they do work to root out the evil and get rid of it, but now we see how that 2018 internal investigation didn’t even get close to the bottom of how vile the team’s treatment of their cheerleaders was.

Snyder is the guy in charge of a repeat offender. On top of that, we also now know he oversaw a shoddy investigation the first time around that seems to have served to sweep things under the rug versus fully digging into the organization’s wrongdoing.

Snyder needs to be removed. He runs a toxic organization.

There is 0 chance he is removed. You'd have to be directly implicated the way Sterling & Richardson were. Theres no proof as of right now that he was part of what happened with the Redskins.

He is directly implicated. Snyder was the boss of the organization that conducted a half-assed investigated itself. Snyder was also then the boss of an organization that then continued treating female employees terribly. Snyder was in charge this whole time.

Kraft went to a spa that engaged in human trafficking of women to receive sexual acts. Tell me why exactly he shouldn't be forced to sell if Snyder is for this.
If we are to rank what is worse for the NFL, I think Snyder's actions are far worse because Snyder's actions hurt women employed by an NFL team.

Unless there is evidence he knew and/or swept it under the rug, theres not much they can do.

So it's only bad if the women affected are employed by an NFL team? Are you actually downplaying human trafficking and forced sexual acts just because those women weren't NFL employees? :shakehead

I'm pretty sure human trafficking with the intent to force women into sexual acts for older men at some spa is worse.
As for what it means to a business, I disagree. The NFL seeing one of it's teams oversee continual abuse of employees of an NFL team is worse than one NFL person running off and committing a crime entirely unrelated to the NFL or its employees.

They were supposed to show excerpts of the interview with the Snyder accusers on ESPN Sportscenter at noon but all ESPN has been doing so far is blabbing on and on about the NBA

Don't care about basketball!!

The pattern continues.

Sexual harassment uncovered at Dan Snyder's Native American foundation

The Washington Post reported on Wednesday that an unidentified female employee of Snyder’s Original Americans Foundation accused executive director Gary Edwards of persistent sexual harassment in 2014. A brief internal investigation apparently found no evidence, but after she filed a claim with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the team chose to pay her a settlement.
. . .
When the internal investigation was opened, the second female employee said she was called to a meeting and asked about the accusations and Edwards’ conduct. She felt uncomfortable sharing her experience with Edwards because one of Snyder’s top advisers, Karl Schreiber, was heavily involved in the meeting, despite not holding an official job with the team or the foundation. Schreiber reportedly pushed back on every accusation against Edwards and appeared to be there to defend Edwards.

And Robert Kraft did not go to the joint knowing they were human trafficked prostitutes.

At least there is no evidence of it.

He most likely didn't. Sure, some of those - lets call them spas - do indeed have girls who were trafficked, but theres plenty that don't.

I just laughed at a billionaire going to one of those places that everyday dudes go to, you'd think he would get something a lot better and less sketchier.

The WFT is getting a $10 million fine from the NFL for it's repeat instances of mistreating female employees.

Based on Wilkinson's review, the Commissioner concluded that for many years the workplace environment at the Washington Football Team, both generally and particularly for women, was highly unprofessional. Bullying and intimidation frequently took place and many described the culture as one of fear, and numerous female employees reported having experienced sexual harassment and a general lack of respect in the workplace.

Ownership and senior management paid little or no attention to these issues.

These sanctions seem about right

the worst the NFL was going to bring the hammer down was a "suspension" of a few months for Snyder where his wife (recently named Co-CEO) would take over day to day operations

I mean didn't people want Snyder to stop meddling. And then he gets suspended. So what's the problem here? YES the punishment is light but the NFL isn't going to kick an owner out over this. Not when so many other teams have baggage.

Not to mention that if Snyder would have been forced to sell over this, that would have set a precedent that the NFL would have been forced to follow for the rest of the owners.
