Hockey's Future:
Vejmelka is a big, 6-foot-3 goaltender who tends to profit from his size and uses it well in the net. His saves are not the most acrobatic, but he does a great job of keeping the puck from crossing the goal line by not quitting on a play and getting himself in front of second and third chances.

Bill Placzek, DraftSite:
Big goaltender who plays big as he anchors the front with strong legs and coolness. Has a good glove. Needs to improve rebound control. Leaves little daylight for the shooters.

Wow this guy seems like an amazing person. Wonder why we got 2 goalies and not some more defensemen but both goalies seem like they potential. Never doubt the front office when they draft a tendy

For some reason I thought our rights expired on him already, but regardless, it never hurts to take a look. There is no downside to bringing him in and letting him battle it out with Ingram, Vomacka, and Cooley.

EDIT: I see CapFriendly has him down as signing with Arizona, not us. :dunno:

Yes. First reports were we signed him. Looks like it is the Coyotes though.

Anyone know if he meets expansion exposure criteria? Can the Coyotes use this player as the goalie they expose to Seattle for expansion?

I don’t think so but it doesn’t matter as you already will have to expose either Kuemper/Hill who do meet the criteria.

The other G taken late in this draft looks like he finished his career in the WHL with a 5.66 GAA.

Hasnt posted/logged on since 2018. Was that the great migration to these mandatory boards? I know quite a few who dropped off at that point
he was young on the NP boards so maybe family life occupies most of his time. quite a few never switched over. it took me awhile to give in and switch.

he held steady around .911 sv% in the Czech Extraliga. Would've been a good depth signing but with Saros, Ingram, Vomacka signed and Askarov, Volkov, and Haider in reserves wasn't really necessary.
