[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

I think we’ve definitely been playing better offensively. Starting against Detroit, we’re just getting to pucks and winning battles. There’s a lot of one-on-one battles we’re winning.
That’s where we’re creating so many chances and getting so many shots on net.
- Carl Hagelin

I felt good. I think the last few games, my focus has been on the right things. It’s good to feel the support.
- Henrik Lundqvist

You say never critique a win. It didn’t start the way I wanted, not just the game but his line. Their first three shifts were totally in our end, I must have sat that line out for 8, 9 minutes in the 1st period.
I liked the way they responded. We challenged them and they responded the right way.
They went on the ice and they had some real solid puck possession shifts and they ended up being real good for us at the end of the night after a so-so start.
- Alain Vigneault

The Ducks, while injury ridden, is still a top tier team. Gotta bring the A-game tonight.

Hiller has been average so far. The Rangers are going to have to go tit for tat with them because Getzlaf and Perry are in beast mode and I doubt the D are containing them.

Lundqvist needs to be the better goalie tonight.

Time to show your mettle. Ducks are quite a but better than the last 3 teams we've beaten. Time to prove it to us.

Can we expect some extra effort to shut down the Stepan line in particular ? Given the production lately

If the team play like they did against Buffalo and Canes they will win.

I call the first shootout of the season with Zucc with the winning SO-goal.

I hate to be "that guy" but I have a feeling we're in for a disappointment tonight.

I know we've all felt pretty good about this team lately but to put it in perspective we teams that we were supposed to beat. They've looked solid the last couple of games but I'm curious to see how they look against a good team now. If they can put up a strong showing then I like forward to seeing this team once Callu and Nash are back.

For now I will wait to see how they do against a good team.

So long as they don't play like they did at the start of that game

Nothing wrong with that. They need to prove it to us.

really need to expose the slow foot speed of the Ducks 2nd line.

This is a good test in that this is one of the teams that laid a beating on us earlier.

Would love to see thsi team respond with a solid all around game and come away with a win.

This is the first time they get to play a team that they were really bad against earlier in the season.

Lets really see if this team has turned the corner.

This is where my trust issues come from. Compete hard, be in the game if not win the game. Show up this time win or lose.

Not asking for a lot.

Though game, but I think we will win if we don't slow start. Boyle, Brassard and Miller will have a good game with goals.

Ducks are incredibly top heavy. Limit Getzy and Perry and you've limited the Ducks. Take advantage of their god awful defense and PK. This is a winnable game.

Ducks are 30th and 29th in PP and PK, respectively...shut down that top line and take advantage of special teams and we can make it 4 in a row...

Don't discount their young players. Etem and Palmeri are very good. Palmeri grew up a Rangers fan, wore 23 at one point in honor of Chris Drury haha. We know that those ranger fans turned players like to troll us when they come to town

Last game of an 8 game road trip for the Ducks tonight. They have been on the road for nearly 2 weeks.

They have a lot of injuries. Their defense looks very underwhelming. Kreider and Hagelin need to abuse them with quick speed and hard work on the forecheck early.

Crossing fingers for a win, this'll likely be a nail biter though :)

This is winnable and we need some revenge for that 6-0 clinker.

This will be a different game.

Henrik looks like he is back to his normal self. Focused. Not fighting the puck.

Kreider and Hagelin on the roster. Changed the team's dynamic.

Anaheim is in for a surprise tonight.
