What sucks is the Stars struggle mightily against nearly every team in this division, and did even before this season, whether they're the better team or not. Outside of the Preds and Red Wings it has been pretty ugly in the past few seasons I feel against the others

Chicago and CBJ will fall back down to earth tho I'd guess

Totally agree. What were they 0-8 the last little while in Columbus and Chicago seems to out talent this talentless bunch more often than not. Then were clearly outclassed by Carolina, Florida and Tampa. We're in for a rough season, no good matchups really.

The Stars built a slow forward group. Some of these fast teams have an easier time getting up and down the ice because they’re better skaters.

Even their 4th line kids are not especially fast.

But they play the right way and are good family guys.

What did we expect? Short post season, tons of key injuries. Half borderline NHL lineup. Add in the schedule and our division, we are a long shot to make the playoffs. It's just hard to watch after they gave us hope in the playoffs.

Certain vets are slow, not necessarily the kids. Also, the Stars are regularly making the mistake to try and beat the speedy teams at their game. Stars are much better when they're playing a more structured, possession based game. Start of games sometimes looks good but for whatever reason they never really stay the course and start trading chances instead.

That was the first truely bad game they played this year. In every other game they played well enough to win. In this one they just didn't deserve to win. That second period was just stupidly horrible.

There is one line that has chemistry right now 21 24 34 and those 3 aren’t good enough to lead our offence yet. Seguin and radulov both out really sucks but it is what it is . Sucks that this is not the best draft for the stars to get a lottery pick either .

So, 3 months post-COVID infection to get back to feeling healthy and alert means the team as a whole should start looking good in April...:help:

I propose a new plan - Robertson gets all the best offensive opportunities and Oettinger gets as many starts as he can handle. A Calder is probably the only thing we've got a shot at winning this season.

A lot of you guys have quickly forgotten that the regular season is like.

The Stars have like 4 games in hand on most teams in the division and there's a stupid amount of hockey left to the season.

It's just the same ol ahshitherewegoagain.jpg that happens every year. It's quite tiresome. Tired of losing to teams that seem twice as quick as the Stars. It's not reaching to say they are going to lose at least four more in a row either. Then it will be last in the division leading into the worst schedule in the league due to compression, and even games in hand can't save that look.
