I love that sergachev doesn't take any bs in front of the net. Kinda why I would like to have a player like wayne simmonds.
He would probably end up being our slowest player.

GOURDE PUT THAT ON NET although it almost worked...

I remember some seasons back, I was talking with some Detroit fans during one of their playoff meetings....and one of the Wings fans was going on about how "TB has skilled but very soft forwards, like Kucherov, Namestnikov...."

Boy...seeing those two stand up for themselves and teammates, I can't help but think how wrong those fans were.
Kuch and Names are FAR from soft players.

Is it just me or does Killorn look fantastic on with these new linemates?

PP time, you do tend to get those with you when you play like this.

Yeah most likely but I mean Kunitz isn't exactly mr. speedy out there. Sometimes you gotta make an exception. I just think he would bring just that little bit of extra toughness that this team needs. Would probably be a big help for our secondary scoring. I'd like to see simmonds and killorn on the same line. two big bodies.

Killorn is looking good tonight.
He is one of those players who needs to have the right linemates.

Some players elevate others, while others need to be elevated.
I think Killorn, while still skilled, is the latter.

The right guys with him make all the difference.

On a side not i've been really impressed with Vassy's puck handling lately. I remember at the start of the year he tried to play it a little too much. Seems like he's found a happy medium.
