95% chance Staal is back in on Wednesday
95% chance Skjei is not the one sitting
No winnin' for Quinton.
Kakko looked really good.
Let's hope they go with the same lineup, give them a chance to regroup, just switch Hank in.
I would consider this. That is how bad Skjei has been.
5-2 down going into the 3rd, against the Senators, is a winneable situation. It's also the kind of situation where you cut the bench, specifically your 4th line of Micheal Haley and Brendan Smith. We did not.
Is Quinn just dumb or are they not particularly concerned about winning games? Legit Question
The good: Kakko, Fox, Panarin
The bad: Everyone else
The ugly: Buchnevich, Andersson, Skjei
Tankers dream my friends.
I guess if your expectations for this season are actually realistic this isn't totally demoralizing
Not to use it as an excuse, but we are missing our second best player. Hopefully the young guys take something away from this
One of the worst officiated games I can remember in some time.
Kakko and Fox looked great. Confidence is coming.
Thought Lindgren played solid yet again. Pleasantly surprised by his skating and puck carrying ability.
I’m not worried. We played well at times. Ran into a hot goalie. I’m only worried about Staal coming back in.
That was...a game.
Kakko was great, could have had 2 more points . Loved seeing him get tons of shifts in the 3rd. Hopefully he keeps playing well. Chytil had trouble getting involved until the 3rd when he looked dangerous.
He’s clearly trying to develop Haley and Smith. Think long-term here bud.
The kids and Panarin were really good. The same old crap was the same old crap.
Really not mad at that one.
Well, the motivation lasted 6.5 periods. What in the f***? I get it they're rebuilding yada yada.
Hard to say the refs were the difference in a 6-2 game, but they were as much to blame for the momentum shift as anything else.
Nilsson was stupid good and Georgiev not so much.
Why is it that one play/goal/game makes an argument either 100% right or 100% invalid for some posters? So reactionary.
This has always been the Rangers' MO. Beat the top teams in the league and lose to the worst.
On the bright side, this was a victory for our draft position. Selective tanking ftw!
So Kakko score
This is a tanker delight boys
It was a bad game, I still feel good about the previous 2 and seeing Kakko with a good game, this one doesn't bother me much.
Kaapo and Artemi looked like the only two players that can control the zone and hold onto the puck like MacKinnon and the large kids. Bread is shifty and dishes and Kaapo can hold onto it with his size. Very positive to see from Kaapo.
EXACTLY. I didn’t know how to put it into words, but you never fail to come through. Thank you.
