Honestly everyone; we are still rebuilding. Murray bringing in ROR, Kane and Bogosian was a false flag to where we actually are. NBCSN said it best the other night when Doc said "the Sabres look to be a few players from being competitive but you can see the potential from their core". Right now we are icing about 6 plus AHLers, we did a FULL rebuild meaning we got rid of every decent vet and replaced them with AHL calibre stars. Doc saying this was a polite way of saying they have too many players who dont belong in the NHL and its true and thats because we have no one to replace them with. We can't rush kids into the NHL, slow cooking them in the system is best for the future.

This was a tough game, coming off a back to back with a feel good win and getting blown out by a good Columbus team never feels good but if you look at their history. They have suffered longer than us rebuilding and trying to find an identity then we have and now their patient fans get to reap the rewards. I know its harder for us Buffalo fans since Ive watched the Bills and Sabres constantly lose but we cant lose sight of where we are in the rebuild.
