I'll take that for a road period. We took some shots and bounced back. I think there have been times where the team would have cracked and given up more goals under that early pressure. Instead we swung momentum our way, and took a lead. That's gotta be disheartening for the Habs. Like a boxer who just took their best punch and shrugged it off.

Scary thing is Hedman is even better 0_0

Over all, yeah, although I think McDonagh shuts plays down better. It's just comforting to see him back there when the opponent is working to create a chance.

It almost looks funny to see his feet move as fast as they do, because he's not a small guy. Hedman generates speed through those long strides, but McDonagh looks a lot more like Johnson or Gourde, running on ice.

It's so funny that the SHab fans call the penalty called against them was BS, but won't offer an opinion of the Gourde "interference" penalty earlier in the game. That was a BS call there for sure.

I think Johnson and Coburn both just saved goals by tying up sticks in front of wide open nets.

Kuch has really got to get it together. As nice as it was for him and Stamkos to connect on the PP, at ES they're both net negative right now.
