Not a stellar 1st period, but we are not a stellar 1st period team. Most of the things that need to be improved are repeats of previous games: more shots, reducing breakaways/high % shots on Bishop, and clearing the zone more effectively.

Hopefully the mistakes can be fixed or reduced in the 2nd.

We gave up two (partial) breakaways to St. Louis in less than two minutes. Gotta stay focussed.

We're playing really good tonite. If we keep this play for the whole game, I think we should earn two points Killorn is a beast and Filppula looks like a Crosby Hard to believ, that he has just a nine points.

Does it look to anyone else like STL has planned for Bishop's tendency to come out of net? They're playing him ultra aggressive.

I think we have to be happy with that period. Probably the best TB has played against a top team, minute for minute.

Also, Killer's proving more valuable with every game. Versatile enough to play any role. Just a gem.
