  • Played four SHL seasons with Färjestad BK, totaling 62 points (20+42) in 170 games in Sweden’s top professional league before turning 21.

Maybe Okposo got hurt, he didnt play the last 15 minutes

Larry took a beating towards the end as well he could be easily banged up

Larsson was unavailable post-game due to being in the training room. Could still be a for different player or reason.

Can probably help the team but I’d prefer for him to develop his offense in the AHL.

My concern is his lack of physicality. If he is here to replace Larry, that is essential. Even if he is here to replace someone else it is useful.

With Johansson out both games this weekend he's probably insurance as an extra forward. I do hope he gets into a game though, I'd like to see what he can do.

That was my thought - Larsson got smashed in the corner and then chopped in front of the net on his goal sequence last night.

I'm interested to see if they play him at center or LW if he plays.

True, though he is faster than Larry. Perhaps what they gain from one, they loss in the other.

That chop was clearly painful. I wouldn't be surprised if he's hurt.

Possible. But Larry's finish directly contributed to their ability to hem the opponent in. Fly bys will erode some of the effectiveness. We'll see I guess. Is he at practice today?

Let's see if Asplund burrows to the net in traffic or if he gets Sabre-itis from the get go before thinking he is all perimeter.

I'm rooting hard for him. He's a type of player we need more of, and in the preseason action I saw, I thought he should've made the team ahead of a couple of guys.

Well, if Larsson is out we need to do something to meet our Swede quorum. Hope he gets in a game or two while he's up.
