89. Because Carlo is the only player on the roster to have not scored a goal yet and he needs one in the finals

Kids an absolute horse. Gives me a Mcquaid vibe (used to be the saying that the bruins always won series McQuaid played in) with his large frame and steadiness. Except this kid can really skate and his offense is only locked away temporarily

Absolutely LOVE Carlo and he’s a huge part of this team.

That top 4 guy we kept pining for all those years? We just need another top 4 that can skate! I miss seidenberg!

I give you Brandon Carlo ladies and germs, and I think he still has a trick or two up his sleeve for this last round

Double 89, I'll toss in my superstition for 91.

91. My Tim Thomas shirsey - I have an old Tim Thomas shirsey that is tattered and falling apart but still wearable. Wore it for the first time in Game 6 against Toronto hoping for some good luck. Overall in these playoffs, Boston is 7-0 when I wear it.

When one Mayor One goes down, you can expect his life long friend Mayor Two to pick up the slack and bring the Cup back home for a parade through the local streets.

Are they lifelong friends? I didn't know that!

- Outside of Vegas losing last year (debatable whether they were the true favorites), Vancouver was the only favorite in the last 20 years that lost when they had 3+ days of rest on their opponent. An opponent that I'm sure everyone here remembers.

97:

Because that's the year we drafted Joe Thornton and Sergei Samsonov

One can technically draw a line from Samsonov to Sean Kuraly. And without dealing Joe Thornton for nothing, we never would've had the space to sign Chara and Savard that summer, singlehandedly turning this franchise around.

99. Cam Neely and his "Trade Tree" (double post on 97)
30 Years Later, Cam Neely Trade Tree Continues To Grow - Thanks To Neely Himself

— On June 6, 1986, then-Bruins general manager Harry Sinden planned to play golf instead of work. He had to cancel his tee time because it started raining. Bruins fans should be forever grateful of Mother Nature that day, because it was on that rainy afternoon that Sinden took the phone call from the Vancouver Canucks that led to the Cam Neely trade.

Thirty years later, the Neely “trade tree” amazingly still growing on the Bruins’ side. Of course, the original trade – Neely and a first-round pick to the Bruins for Barry Pederson – went down as one of the great steals in history and the Bruins kept Neely for the rest of his Hall-of-Fame career. But the first-round draft pick they received in 1986 was used a year later to select defenseman Glen Wesley.

The Bruins eventually traded Wesley to the Hartford Whalers for three draft picks, one of which was used to draft Sergei Samsonov in 1997. The team then acquired a second-round pick as part of a trade sending Samsonov to Edmonton in 2006. That pick became Milan Lucic.

In a way, the 1986 trade came full circle in 2015. Neely, now president of the Bruins, approved one of new general manager Don Sweeney’s first big moves, trading Lucic to the Los Angeles Kings for goalie Martin Jones, defenseman Colin Miller, and a 2015 first-round pick, which they used to draft defenseman Jakob Zboril. The team eventually traded Jones to the San Jose Sharks for a 2016 first-round pick(Trent Frederic) and center prospect Sean Kuraly.

From the Neely "trade tree" Milan Lucic, Nathon Horton, Gregerory Campbell and Cam himself so far has been able to lift the Cup as a Bruin, hopefully Neely will be able to again this year, right after Kuraly.

101. B's fans.

From the long-time season ticket holders to the pink hats.

From the locals in the hub to the far-flung around North America and the world, to those behind enemy lines who deserve special mention.

To the record-breaking number of Bruins posters on HF, of course! Cheers to us!

To my neighbor across the street for 18 years, who just let me know he’s a Boston fan after seeing our "Believe in Boston" flag that’s been flying since Toronto game 6.

God love em. I love you all. Let’s enjoy this ride.
