It is already this early in the season and a lot of the fans are drained. A lot seen this coming before the season though which doesn't help things.

It’s because we’ve seen the same crap for years. No emotion, no scrums, no intensity. Slow and soft. This is as vanilla if a group as you could find.

As much as I hate Hak, Hextall needs to look himself in the mirror as well. He has willingly kept a PK coach with the same passive box for years. He has continuously put his teams behind the eight ball with POS goaltending.

Funny, I was told the stars "carried" this team last year, this year they're getting beat against top competition, "crickets."
When I said they were exposed in the playoffs, no no no, but it's becoming pretty obvious.
Sure, they can score, but just don't have the legs to match up against top, fast young talent.

A new coach won't change that, only enough new talent. And it's coming.

Bruins top line at home vs Torgo and Weise all night, we are getting paddled. The Pk will go below 50%, Elliot will get yanked.

Then with a home loss to the lowly Isles, who may have more points then us, maybe just maybe Hexy or Hak get fired.

Sens are ahead of us with 2 games in hand, we were consensus pick for playoffs, they were picked to set league low records, hint, coaching and goaltending matter.

Lol, who are you kidding?

Apathy has definitely set in. Such a shame to see the talent wasted. They don't need much to be a good team - just a goalie and a coach really. They have the players here and in Lehigh to be a fast, forechecking team like Colorado.

Bingo.

Already feel like we lost this game and its days away.....this is seriously the worst time ive ever had as a flyers fan
Its hard to even actively watch anymore. I basically use it as background noise while im playing with my son or working on website design jobs. There's no passion/heart or edge to there game. Same brutal mistakes, dumb coaching decisions, and mediocre at best goaltending.

We are getting married on Friday and our rehearsal dinner is Thursday night, so im gonna miss this...probably for the better.

To be a fast, forechecking team, they need more speed but also to replace some players who aren't enthusiastic forecheckers or backcheckers.

Not just Lehtera and Weise, but also Simmonds, Voracek and Weal.

How are you unaware that this only proves that the success of the team is contingent on the players overcoming the coach? The usual handful of players isn't, and Hakstol is exposed thoroughly for what he is. His awful management isn't being bailed out by the best players. It's exposed thoroughly.

Core is no good to head this team. Changes will happen to the whole team coaches and players. It's boring and a new coach won't fix that.

But a new coach won't change the fact they can't match up against top lines anymore.
And that you can't hide Voracek and Simmonds.

This team needs more than a coaching change, it needs Hextall to blow up the old guard and commit to the kids. The idea that players like Lehtera and Weise are holding this team back is nonsense, MacDonald has been benched and they're actually two of our best forwards the last few games (which is truly scary). It's the top players who've been exposed this year.

The only things less fun than the Hakstok brand of hockey are usual suspects:

a) the usual suspect who never acknowledges any mistake by a coaching staff, yet exaggaretes any negative impact a top end player may have
b) the usual suspect who was hell bent on calling Couturier a shit 3C player every year until he myssteriously disappeared for Couturiers career year
c) the usual suspect who just keeps strolling in with 1970s mentality, disliking everyone on the roster until they leave, then they are okay

These 3 repeating their one shtick over and over again are next level moaning tirade

Put TK on the top line and they'll match up just fine. We know this. We learned this last year. Well, we did, Hakstol didn't.

More detrimental is Hakstol purposefully pursuing bad matchups.

Voracek doesn't need hiding. The guy is a good player. Don't say silly things to cover for a coach you believe is flawless but is the opposite.

Hahahaha we will be right. Have been all along as you can see right now but it's the coach again according to you guys. Toughen up abit and understand some of us just don't like these players and the half assed effort win or lose. The whole works have to go.
