Off the top of my head, CHI/ANA and CHI/LAK in the WCF have been awesome. MTL/BOS from 2014 and 2011 was pretty wild. BOS/VAN, CHI/VAN, PHI/PIT from those various years in that 2010-2013 window.

The LA-Chicago series from 2014 was amazing, but the Pitt-Philly series from a few years ago with the 100 goals between them was extremely entertaining as well.

Just a complete gong show of a series, but it made for amazing television.

Ducks-Wings 09 is one of the best series I've seen. Two stylistically very different teams both playing at basically their peak ability.

This is a very good re-cap:

It felt like the real SCF of the 09 post-season.

Datsyuk-Zetterberg-Hossa-Lidstrom-Rafalski
vs
Getzlaf-Perry-Selanne-Pronger-Niedermayer

Unfortunately, Crosby vs. Ovechkin was going on at the same time and that took all the spotlight. But as someone who watched both series, there was no question which had the better quality of hockey.

vancouver vs dallas 07 think it was

You mean Vancouver vs Turco? Seriously, how a goalie gets 3 shutouts in a series and still loses is mind-blowing. The Stars offense was so inconsistent, they literally had to get a shutout to win, lol.

One of my favorites is probably San Jose vs Dallas in 2008.

I don't know what was so great about the flyers-pens series unless you love watching historically bad goaltending from both teams.

Y'know, entertainment.....? It was absolutely insane. Fights, goals, hits, everything people watch hockey for. Not everyone wants 2-1 every night.

The Bruins series in 2010 was my favourite though. 0-3 down, pull it back to 3-3, 0-3 down in game seven, pull it back to 3-3, Gagne's goal in the third puts us ahead for the first time in the series and it's enough. Historic.

I remember the 2006 ECF between Carolina and Buffalo was amazing. Buffalo kept dropping dmen and there were twists and turns. Was there a crucial delay-of-game penalty in game 7, I can remember a huge reaction to the new puck over the glass rule.

Yes, there was. Score was tied 2-2 in the 3rd period and Brian Campbell flipped the puck over the glass. Brind'Amour scores on the ensuing powerplay to make it 3-2. There was another great moment to that - Carolina had a 3-2 series lead after Game 5 and were going back to Buffalo to hopefully finish out the Sabres. Lindy Ruff was contacted by the visiting team hotel sometime between Game 5 and Game 6 to let him know that he'd left his cell phone charger in his room and whether or not he'd like them to ship the charger back to him. Ruff's reply was essentially "Just hold onto it. I'll be back down there for Game 7."

Pittsburgh Philly from a few years ago where they scored like wildfire was by far the most entertaining hockey I have seen in my life time. This even includes the Bruins winning the Stanley cup in 2011, something I had dreamt about my entire life up to that point.

The 2011 SCF was a circus that had everything: the Twins, Tim Thomas, Bitegate, Tiregate, etc., and ended with the fulfillment of my dream as well. However, I'm sure a lot of neutral fans wish that some of the games had been closer. I'm still in shock that the Bruins ran away with Game 7 and didn't give me a heart attack after 30 years of waiting(I've been a fan since 1981).

Only Canes and Devils fans probably remember the epic series they had in 2009.

Well maybe Devils fans wanted to forget that one with how it ended  But that was an amazing series.

The best game 7 in the last decade has got to be Bruins Lighting in 2011. Man, thats probably the most exciting 1-0 hockey game one will ever see.

I am surprised that no one has mentioned the 2007 WCF between the Ducks and Wings.

Selanne's steal and ot winner in game 5. Still takes my breath away
