3rd line seems to have a nice speed edge, and 4th line had a good physical shift.

Surprised at the Sustr and Brewer pairing.

Really? Hedman and Salo played together all last year so they put them back together and Carle-Gudas is our new 2nd pair. Brewer is going to rotate with all the young guys when they dress.

Malone just can't handle a pass. Whenever the puck gets near him the play dies.

Feels very "safe" so far. In a good way. Usually, in TB games, you're always on edge, but they're playing a good responsible game here.

The only real negative I'm seeing is the first line is invisible again.

Chicago is blocking shots like nobody's business.

If something ever gets through, Crawford might have issues seeing it I think. Tons of traffic in front of him when Tampa gets the puck deep.

Malone is my goat this game. Seems too nervous out there. Can't handle a pass, doesn't get a prime opportunity on goal. He's doing okay in the Dzone, but then again so is everyone on the team.

Was thinking the same thing actually. The Hawks are basically flooding 3 bodies in front Crawford for every shot.

...Still feels weird to think this is true.

Johnson and Palat on the pk. I want to see some shorthanded chances like they've done so well in the AHL
