Postgame: McLellan says he has an upper body injury and shouldn't be out long term.
Supposedly minor hand injury from a blocked shot.
The quote from NHL.com
"Matty's got an upper body injury," McLellan said. "I don't think he's going to be really long, but he wasn't able to play."
Koala says he is not going to be out long, so probably a month.
It sounds like it didn't seem like much of an injury, but they had no morning skate and it wasn't until he got on the ice for the pre-game warmup and began working with a stick that he realized he wasn't ready to go. So it can't be THAT bad...
Probably some bruising swelling stiffness that didn't allow him to control his stick very well.
Pffff, any healthy man wouldn't let a lil swelling interfere with stick work.

Also looks like Matt Nieto is back on the third line, so he should be a go for tomorrow #SJSharks
