Ryan Miller has been the focal point of the Sabres for years. Former starter for team USA and top goalie in the NHL, Miller's team has come on hard times. He continues to try to keep he and his team above water but he can't do it alone. How long can Miller remain a Sabre and what will it take to get them out of the hole they've dug?

Tomas Fleischmann has been the steadiest member of the Panthers thus far, with 6 points in his last 7 games, leading the team in assists and points.

There is absolutely no reason at all to lose this game. If the team plays just like they did in the 3rd period of the last game, I see nothing but a huge win coming. We're not a great team by any means, but the Sabres this season have just been flat out bad. There's a chance that they may come out with fire and will be eager to get a win, so the Panthers can't take them lightly by any means. I'm hoping Bergy's return will put some spark into exactly what they need to get back closer to .500.

Bergy is back :handclap:. It's been since the playoffs that he has put on a Panthers jersey. I hope they can play like they did against Chicago.
    (I never assume wins though)

Look at that sexy Finnish-with-a-Swedish-Last-Name smile. So happy to have this guy back!

Buffalo is going to be tricky. We SHOULD win, which means we'll probably get smoked.

Buffalo's offence is somehow even worse than ours. If we can just buckle down and play hard, we can come out with two points.

If we come out lazy, we WILL lose. I promise. Buffalo thinks they can beat us as much as we think we can beat them.

Hey Guys Im thinking of dropping Huberdeau in my pool October 31st is the waiver deadline pickup... I just want to know has he been playing good? Getting chances? Do you think he'll have a sophmore slump or improve on his great rookie season.. I love the guys creativity.. And i know he'll be a star in this league for a long time hes only 20 years old. What are your thoughts?

How many points do you expect him to get?

I think you made a typo on Buffalo GAA and SV%, pretty sure that Tuuka Rask havent played any games for Buffalo and that Enroth dont have a SV% on 2.65. I think it should be
    GAA Enroth 2.65
    SV% Miller 0.918

Swedish? I figured the name of Bergenheim to be German, or in and around German/ deutsche.

I'm thinking 50-55pts is definitely huby-doobie-doable for him, anything over that would be amazing for him and the team.

This could be a close game. Buffalo obviously playing desperate and their defense actually is pretty decent. Offense on the other hand is horrible, if the Panthers can keep the off PP this game should be in the bag.

Will be nice to have Bergenheim back, I liked the way Upshall has been playing recently so it will be interesting to see how this plays out. Bergy was a great two way winger with great speed and I remember him for his solid defensive ability.

A win tonight would do wonders for the confidence of so many, Markstrom, Bergenheim, Vetsteeg does anyone else see a similarity in Tomas Vanek and Barkov's demeanor and skating comparison?

According to Harvey, Bergenheim will be playing with Huberdeau and Bjugstad on the 2nd line

As a Florida fan, I've been taught to never assume a win. However, I watched the whole Sabres game On Wednesday, and they are terrible, their record isn't a fluke, they are really bad. Got outshot 2-1, and Boston won with a former all star NFL receiver in net, so it shouldn't even matter how Markstrom plays. :sarcasm:

Actually, I'm not sure if he will be playing on that line now. Someone else tweeted that he was on the 4th line playing LW. We'll find out tonight I guess.

And it's Enroth tonight instead of Miller.

I don't see this as a very good thing. We always seem to play poorly towards backup goaltenders.

The Bergenheim's have their origins is Värmland, Sweden (16th-century).
The first Bergenheim came to Finland in in the late 18th-century.
Doesn't really have anything to do with Germany, although it might sound German.

Jewish? What? That is not true, I have no idea who came up with this

So excited for this game, just look at my avatar

I do expect to lose tonight cause that's just how our team rolls. Especially with Enroth in net. Expect a shutout. :help:
