God those years with Kariya and Salanne were great years of the Sharks/Ducks rivalry. I always love Retirement ceremonies and NHL Network just showed some of Kariya's. What a great player he was. Guys like Getzlaf, Kariya, and Salanne are why I don't hate the ducks even if I should. Respect the great players and the history they will provide. As a young Sharks fan, watching those games were always a highlight of the season.

Getzlaf is for sure a great borderline elite player but i wouldn't say he's likable lol. He's probably why I disliked the Ducks. SCF aside.
