We seemed to step on our own momentum about five different times, between the penalties and the D miscues. Reminds me of 2015 when we would control play, then make the most massive and ridiculous mistake (often Matt Carle) and either give up a goal or get bailed out by Bish.

Stamkos had another good first period. Kucherov, right before taking the penalty, had a vintage Kucherov shift (and then gassed himself out on said shift, leading to the penalty). TKO had at least a couple of "TKO" shifts.

Cirelli's not the biggest guy, but he's right there fighting away for that one. Good things happen when you play like he does.
