McDavid vs Bergeron/Chara will be great to watch.

The fact that we're calling a young star player (McDavid) vs a 41 year old Chara "great to watch" says a lot about the legendary Big Z.

I've always looked forward to the all-too-rare meetings with the Oil. Semenko, McSorley and Buchberger were fun to watch back then. Even Messier and Gretzky were ok.

How the league thought it wise to nearly hide McDavid for a week of the beginning of the season is beyond me.
You want this guy playing, likely in the season opener against the current cup champions on their own to draw attention to the sport.
You want to showcase him as much as possible.
