Unlike last year, this is likely to be a 4-game sweep for the 67s, as the Bulldogs have collapsed down the stretch as inexperience, D-man injuries, and a rookie goaltender with no decent backup behind him if he struggles (Donofrio was one of the worst backups in the O this year--was the 2nd worst goalie with enough games to qualify--only Cameron Lamour of Sarnia was worse--at this point, they would be better off throwing Marco Constantini in as the backup for Roy.)

Biggest concern for Ottawa is the health of DiPietro(he was injured tonight)--it could be the difference between a trip to Halifax or being knocked out in the conference final by Niagara, Oshawa or Sudbury.
Otherwise, this team is in good shape for a lengthy run.

This is the matchup I wanted. Hamilton plays more of an offense first game. It means Ottawa should be able to get rolling with speed and breeze through the round. The downside is it won't be a strong test to get them "playoff ready." The goalies should both get tested and hopefully that will help DiPietro if he's healthy and playing. The 2nd round will be much more difficult than the first round.

@OSA would be fun to add polls to your OPs like they do for the NHL playoff threads (ie. options of OTT in 4, OTT in 5 etc; HAM in 4, HAM in 5 etc)

Andree has been way better than Dipietro from the moment he got here, could be a blessing in disguise.
