No.. NHL players typically get an O-1 visa for "extraordinary abilities" the process takes up to 3-7 days like it always has

The team said they were having "immigration issues." You don't say that when everything is going smoothly like it usually does.

why did we trade for someone who has immigration issues?

Does the trade get rescinded if he is denied a visa?

HE doesn't have immigration issues, he's played on an american team before. I'm guessing the "issues" are really just delays, which are much more common these days.

Well it took an injury...
Was hoping JB finally woke up & traded for someone without any kind of issues.

People realize that he is only being brought up to cover for a guy with a day to day injury and that the second McCabe is healthy Pilut ends up on the next bus back to Rochester?

And it will not look very good, Bogosian requested a deal, Miller regularly becomes a healthy scratch. We probably must trade two RD and stay Pilut in Buffalo.

which is why I would not be surprised if he heads back to Sweden next year once his contract is up. No reason for him to stay here, when he can make far more back home, or sign in the KHL and be closer to home
