This has to be one of the better long stretches of Stamkos's career. Definitely the best he's played for 30+ games since the broken leg. But he actually IS a complete player now, and he has the ability to dominate AND make his linemates better. It's a different player than when he scored 60, but might be just as valuable.

BTW I don't really see how E. Kane got a penalty there unless he kept doing **** behind the play. I thought that was a clean hit on Cernak.

I thought I saw Gourde get him behind the play causing Kane to look for someone to retaliate on.

That's really the thing. We've never seen an elite version of Stamkos in the playoffs. If he can be that, we could have a different level than we've seen yet April-June.
