It's just the truth. Remember when the playoffs started last year and all of the sudden we started playing well again? Same thing is gonna happen this year. Just have to watch mediocre hockey for the next few months.

Don't feel bad, the Islanders also brought the Leafs back down to earth with a 4-0 victory just a few games ago. It seems like Trotz motivates his team to play well against the top ranked teams in the league.

I liked how we didn't just accept the loss tonight. Pulling the goalie with about 10 minutes sends the message that we don't want to lose.

Hopefully this team jumps out of the gate Tuesday, would be a nice psychological victory
