I saw that Palmieri was on the 4th line. Any reason for that?

I'd like to know more about him. My understanding is that Palmeiri came from New Jersey as a borderline NHL capable player. His stats this year aren't great, but not bad either. I would think he'd be a second line guy. Or is he a bust?

Other than the first 5-6 games, I have really been impressed with Palmieri's play. He has mostly played on a line that could be considered 2a with McIntyre and Fontaine. His N/S skating has been good and he has been great at forcing turnovers. He is strong in the cycle, goes to the net, and has shown decent hands/shot. I do not see him becoming a top 6 winger (he'd have to put up more points) but if he can do in the NHL what he has done this year, he will be a reliable bottom-6 guy who can wear down opposing defensemen.

He's doing exactly what NJ fans told us he would. He has always been good in the AHL. He just can't seem to transfer it to the League.
