I know many of you hate these threads :p: , but I'm from Arizona and I don't get to see these guys, so here it goes:

I made this list using mostly second-hand scouting reports. I basically compiled it in hopes of provoking people who actually know about these prospects into agreeing/disagreeing with me, so as I can gain a better understanding of how these players actually play.

1. Crosby - Joe Sakic?
2. Johnson - Ed Jovanovski?
3. Brule - Daymond Langkow?
4. Ryan - Somewhere between Shane Doan and Freddy Modin?
5. Kopitar - Radek Bonk?
6. Benoit Pouliot - Eric Daze? Alex Tanguay? Zubrus? Dagenais?
7. Bourret - Mike Ricci/Jordin Tootoo?
8. Zagrapan - Petr Nedved?
9. Parent - Scott Hannan? Keith Carney? Marcus Ragnarsson?
10. Staal - Robyn Regehr?
11. Skille - Somewhere between Keith Tkachuk and Dallas Drake?
12. Latendresse - Isbister?
13. Bergfors - Jere Lehtinen/P.J. Axelsson?
14. Setoguchi - Kyle Calder/Mark Parrish/Cheechoo?
15. Kindl - Lydman?
16. McArdle - Adam Deadmarsh/Brenden Morrow?
17. Durand - Curtis Brown?
18. Bourdon - Skoula?
19. Stoa - Rob Neidermayer/Olli Jokinen?
20. Bertram - Paul Kariya/Martin St, Louis?

I'm talking style, not career potential, here.

According to Kopitar's team head coach, he is somewhere in between Mike Modano and Mats Sundin, for whatever its worth.

Bourret to Peca because of size? I figured he had more offensive potential, no?

For the others, I can't act like I've seen many, but I've hear Latendresse compared to Bill Guerin, and more commonly Todd Bertuzzi.

Well Peca is pretty underrated offensively, with better linemates he is a 60+ points player (right now he is 40-50 range) and I thik this is what Bourret offensive upside will look like.

They both play center, are hard hitters and good both ways. Plus, like you said they have similar size.

I'd be as hell disappointd if Latendresse tured out to be another Isbister.
I can't say I've seen Isbister play during his junior years but I think that Latendresse is a lot grittier than him.

I'd say more Ruutu than Peca. Though we don't know where Tuomo may top out. It could be right around Mike Peca.

I see Zagrapan as a Nedved also... I read something where Brule was connected to Langkow, but then they said he's more like a cross of Datsyuk and Roenick. Johnson is more like Chelios.

I really like your Ruutu comparison but in my opinion Ruutu has a higher point production ceiling
