Just realized that we only have five players not on ELCs signed for more than one year (Benn, Seguin, Spezza, Klingberg, Bishop).

Yikes.

I don't know if that's a bad thing. This team was close to a dumpster fire last year. It's a great thing to have that flexibility. It's one of things Nill talks about frequently. Those key RFA and ELC players are under control from Dallas several years. It's not like they're going to lose a ton of great players soon to UFA.
