Game tonight, it means absolutely nothing. My only motivation to tune in tonight is that we finally get to see Zykov play 7 minutes and 42 seconds of NHL hockey. Also McDavid is kind of fun to watch him play hockey.

I'm guessing Zykov will get some decent ice time tonight, and probably again on Thursday and then will be sent back to the Checkers to play in their game on Friday, especially with Foegele suspended. Canes are out of it now so no need for Peters to go with the tried and true.

By "decent" I mean at least 10 min.

I thought Zykov played RW? Looks like Peters is setting him for failure. Hopefully we can at least see him shine on the PP?

I'd be interested to see him play on a line with Lindy at some point. I for some reason can just imagine Zykovs net front precense meshing well with Lindy's play making abilities.
