I thought for sure Skarek would be the starter. Seems like starters are extra hard to predict this year (See: Russians, USA too)

I was debating between Skarek, Berdin, and the 2 USA goalies. I never believed that Skarek had the most upside...I went for him because I felt that he was the best balance between team strength and starter probability. It was a tough call, but Russia still put 4 on Korenar so I have faith that Skarek will get at least a few games (disclaimer that I have not seen the game yet).

Starting to see some separation and no ties. Another strong day from FinPanda with his non-Americans all having multi-point games to give him sole possession of first place for the time being. Not as high scoring a day overall as I imagined though due to teams that had potential to blowout not performing as well as they could you could say...

Not too much movement today. Hutton made up some ground with a 6 point day, while nobody else tallied more than 4 today. Oettinger and Mittelstadt did the most damage with 3 points each. Khabby and FinPanda continue to duel for the top spot while gaining a bit more room over the field, while others are beginning to fall back of the rest of the pack.

But since I am using IIHF stats to score it and they count that as a goal, I guess I should to. Adjusted.

Very close as we seem to have split into 2 groups. LainePeg and Hutton with the biggest day with 8 points each. Scorevat with a good day as well to get himself back in the mix. Tapu Coco and Khabby sticking around at the very top though where they have consistently been since the start.

Korenar played against Belarus, so I don't think Skarek has a win yet (though he may after this game against the swiss). In this case, I should have 2 less points and be T3 with FinPanda, with LainePeg moving into sole possession of 2nd.

Unless, did Korenar get pulled? I'm looking at the boxscore on the TSN app, and it says Korenar was the only goalie
