Its not all about fantasy hockey.. Hymen adds a presence to that line and wins a ton of puck battles all over the ice. Points will come, certainly not to the extent of nylander and matthews but hes still solid nonetheless.

I agree will, great post. Hyman is a machine on the forecheck and causes Alot of turnovers. you put jvr on that line and the line will be in the defensive zone longer.

Hyman isn't scoring... but he doesn't need to Matthews and Nylander are. He's just causing Alot of havoc for the opposition.... the man wins ALOT of board battles.

If it ain't broke why fix it?

Replace Hyman on that line with a young skill guy then who do you want to go hard into the corners to force turnovers and win 50/50 pucks? The net result would be less productive forechecks and more time spent defending and/or more time exposing Matthews and Nylander to the most physically grueling areas on the ice (the corners).

Replace Hyman with an older guy who can do the corner work then you've relegated that older guy to a grunt role as a third wheel.

Hyman or someone like him is perfect for this role with the two uber talented young forwards.
