Yzerman should have had a season starting seven game goal streak as well

So Nikita Kucherov just scored again tonight and has a seven game goal streak to begin a season. Yzerman had a six game goal streak to start the 1988-1989 season, but it should have been seven games as this late goal against the Leafs on October 21 1988 does look like it goes in and should have counted.

I couldn't see it go in, but I love the way The Captain went after the refs.

Not only that, but was Yzerman a force back then. Can't wait until the Wings have another player half as good as Yzerman.

Yeah, didn't see it go in either but you can tell by the players' body language, even on the opposing team, that it probably went in.

It's also nice seeing Yzerman's intensity there with the refs haha. At about 1:08 you hear him call the ref an "effing idiot" lol. Then of course the stick smash in the tunnel. I don't think I've ever seen Lidstrom or Zetterberg angry at all, especially not like that.
