What would your team's 1-15 draft board look like assuming you are your team's GM and you have a pick in the top 15? How would you draft at this point in time?

Here's mine for the wings:

Red Wings
1. Rasmus Dahlin
2. Andrei Svechnikov
3. Quinton Hughes
4. Filip Zadina
5. Noah Dobson
6. Evan Bouchard
7. Jesperi Kotkaniemi
8. Oliver Wahlstrom
9. Adam Boqvist
10. Brady Tkachuk
11. Ty Smith
12. Barrett Hayton
13. Isac Lundestrom
14. Joe Veleno
15. Joel Farabee

Am I right in assuming you simply forgot about Bouchard?

Oh, I see. What about him makes you hesitant?
I'm comfortable with his floor, but not his ceiling. I also think his speed will be exploited in the NHL. Speedy forwards will get around him no problem and there will be nothing he can do about it. He's reminding me of Brent Seabrook right now who in all fairness, was great in his prime, but I doubt Bouchard gets to that point.

For the Rangers we should/have said we will draft BPA, here’s what I think their order is

Dahlin
Zadina
Svech
Boqvist
Tkachuk
Dobson
Farabee
Kotkaniemi
Bouchard
Wahlstrom
Kaut
Smith
Hughes
Wilde
Lundestrom
Something like that
(This is not even close to my own rankings btw)

Edit-read the question wrong

Fair enough. Your opinions on his skating might be shifted if you check out how he tested at the TPG, though.

I don't think brent seabrook was ever as good offensively as bouchard is.

The only 3 players I’m 100% positive will be off the board before the Rangers are Dahlin, Svechnikov, and Zadina.

We should target these 6 players in this order:

1. Quinn Hughes
2. Oliver Wahlstrom
3. Evan Bouchard
4. Adam Boqvist
5. Noah Dobson
6. Joel Farabee

I hope Tkachuk and Kotkaniemi are picked earlier than #9 to give us a clear shot at the top 4 on this list.

4. Kotkaneimi
5. Boqvist
6. Veleno
7. Hughes
8. Zadina

Evan Bouchard is comparable to Brent Seabrook? No offense, but this makes me think you're not very familiar with one of those players.

It doesnt help that we traded our 1st round pick and Foley for Stastny, who we probably wont be signing.
