Dont include players in the future like kids that are 12 years old now and will be 18 in 6 years..Just use the players in your system and get a couple of reasonable free agent signings..Yeah i know Ovechkin...But i have that gut feeling that he will eventually become a Shark

I am not going to name names of any UFAs signed but i will show where the Hawks will need to make signings. I am also going to assume that the Hawks pick Kane and that their prospects for the most part reach their potential.

Kane - Toews - Havlat Fast high scoring #1 line
Ruutu - UFA - Skille Physical scoring line
Brouwer - Bolland - Makorov Skillful but gritty 3rd line.
UFA Enforcer - Burish - Blunden Energy/hard hitting line

Seabrook - Barker
UFA - Keith
Hjalmarsson/Byfuglien - Wisniewski

UFA
Crawford.

I like how Grabovsky is ahead of Malkin and Datsyuk on the depth chart while Kovalchuk is on the 4th line.

Yes, Brind'Amour is still playing. Are you surprised?

Lots of wild cards such as Babin, Manzato, McBain, ect. Maybe even the Canes make a deal to lure another Staal here somehow?

Oh man...I know people like their prospects but consider this: the Pens have ONE SINGLE player left from their 2001 roster, Josef Melichar(and hopefully he's gone too by fall). And only five of the Penguins draftees who were prospects at the time remain with the team. The Islanders probably had a complete makeover per every three years when Mike Milbury was in charge.

So, what I'm saying is that most of those shiny prospects will be gone; not good enough, leave for more money, traded, return to their home country, even retired. Don't be surprised when it happens. ''This is HF dude get with the program'' - Sure it is, but realism is allowed, even on internet message boards...

Edit: I see the OP said ''a couple of reasonable free agent signings..'' but anyway, -reasonably- there will be more like a dozen free agent signings and other players who aren't on your team's system as of now.

Only used current Pens. By then, I think Malkin will have been traded, and the wingers will be upgraded.

Yes, but, this thread was made for fun and to see what were the plans on some lesser-known youngsters that each organisation have.. nobody knows in 6 years how the rosters will look like. Look, I'm going to quote my post above with a prospect-full Habs lineup and make it more realistic.

Of course, half these guys probably won't be there in 6 years, but its all speculation anyways.
