He didnt F anything. He slightly over paid 4 guys..yes, with 100% healthy roster and even now we should be way better and the players stopped listening to Mike..it was clear.

When it comes to those contracts you dont think Shanny had any say, he needs his approval on such big deals for sure. It's the role players around the stars, and either ours aren't good enough OR Mike didnt use them correctly..I say a bit of A and B.

Commentary on the Leaf brain drain over the past few years. What plans if any are to be taken to replace the veteran hockey voices lost in the departure of Lamoriello, Babcock and Hunter? How does Shanahan see the loss of those people in the evolution to Dubas and Keefe? Does he see an analogy between the on ice team lacking leadership with the front office?

he had one 100pt season and even then it was less than the team he took over

there's plenty of blame to go around and Dubas gets a large share of it

the team had enough of Babs and we're too talented to miss the playoff but if/when we get there we don't do some damage then Dubas should be shown the door
