Proposal: Your ideal Oilers draft scenario

With the draft in 2 weeks, we have the following picks:

It's not ideal to only have 5. The one thing we can do is deal down from 19 and pick up some extra picks. Some trades I feel Kenny should look in to.

To VGK for 30 & 36
To BUF for 33 & 53
To OTT for 39 & 42
To DET for two of 23, 38, and 48

VGK and BUF would be the ideal targets, in that order. 2 guys I'm high on are Joshua Roy and Manix Landry, with Landry being highly underrated. He's seems like a Bergeron type.

I think 19 is a very good keep. Quality over Quantity esp this year when there is a ton more uncertainty!

I know a goalie takes years to develop but I'd like to see them take a gamble if Cossa makes it to them.

If he doesn't I think you trade it, either to trade back or for a roster player.
